‘Day in St. Louis’ trip set for Nov. 19
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- You can go sightseeing, shopping, enjoy dining out or just enjoy getting away for the day during the “Day in St. Louis” trip Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Student Programming Council Special Events is sponsoring Nov. 19.
Tickets are now available at the ticket office on the second floor of the Student Center for $20. Seating is limited so get your tickets for the round-trip motor coach ride now.
The trip is open to the public. However, a parent or guardian must accompany anyone under age 18.
Plans call for the bus to leave the Student Center about 9 a.m. and make stops at the Galleria Mall and Mills Mall in St. Louis. Organizers note that while those are the planned stops, trip participants will also be able to visit various other locations and hit the downtown area via light rail or taxi. The group’s estimated arrival time back at SIU Carbondale is 10 p.m.
