Touch of Nature to host ‘Haunted Hollow’
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- You can enjoy family style Halloween fun at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Haunted Hollow.
The bewitchingly entertaining event at Touch of Nature Environmental Center is set for 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Families and children of all ages are welcome.
Haunted Hollow features goofy games, spooky animals, face painting, hay wagon rides, campfire activities and, of course, trick or treating! It all takes places at Touch of Nature, about eight miles south of Carbondale on Giant City Road. Organizers encourage participants to wear costumes.
The deadline to register is 4 p.m. on Oct. 27 and you must register in advance to attend. For reservations, call 618/453-1121 or visit the website at www.ton.siu.edu.
Tickets are $7 for adults or $5 for children ages 13 and younger. Children ages five and younger get in free.
