New theater majors take stage in ‘New Faces’

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois University Carbondale Department of Theater extends a welcome to its new students onstage with “New Faces,” an annual event.

This year’s event, featuring scenes and songs and new majors, begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Christian H. Moe Theater in the Communications Building.  The event coincides with Saluki Family Weekend. when many families will be visiting campus. There is no admission charge, but seating is limited.  A reception follows the performance.
