SPC Special Events plans Cubs-Cardinals bus trip
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Salukis can enjoy the phenomenon that is the Cardinals versus Cubs rivalry courtesy of a trip sponsored by Student Programming Council Special Events at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
The trip to Busch Stadium is set for Sunday, Sept. 25. The bus leaves the Student Center at about 10 a.m. and the baseball game time is 1 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and that includes a seat at the ballpark and round-trip motor coach transportation.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to join in the fun. Space is limited though with tickets selling on a first come basis, so organizers recommend buying early. Purchase tickets at the business office window on the second floor of the Student Center.
