Deadline approaching to sign up for CampCEO
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Time is fast running out for high school students to register for this summer's High School CampCEO Crash Course, Southern Illinois University Carbondale's acclaimed entrepreneurship camp.
The camp has drawn national recognition in previous years and the 2011 edition is set for July 22. The registration deadline is July 15.
The camp will provide teens with business development training, financial advice, marketing concepts experience, visits with successful local entrepreneurs and businesses and much more. It all kicks off at 8:30 a.m. at the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center at 150 E. Pleasant Hill Road and continues until 6 p.m.
The cost of camp is $49 and that covers all of the experiences and materials, meals, a camp T-shirt and transportation to the various sites. The camp is limited to the first 20 participants to sign up.
