‘Megamind’ now on weekend film schedule
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- There’s a new show in town at Southern Illinois University Carbondale this weekend.
“Megamind” will play Feb. 3-5 at the Student Center Auditorium. Due to licensing issues, this movie is replacing “The Social Network” on the Student Programming Council Films schedule.
“Megamind” shows are set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, and 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 4 and 5. The 2010 animated 3D flick carries a PG rating and stars Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey and Jonah Hill. It’s a superhero comedy fantasy adventure directed by Tom McGrath and it runs 96 minutes.
Everyone is welcome. Admission is $2 for SIUC students with valid identification and for children age 10 and younger, or $3 for the general public. You can pay by Debit Dawg.
