When you were a youngster, what did you want to be when you grew up? Second baseman for the Chicago Cubs.
If you could choose another profession, what would it be and why? Law enforcement. It has always interested me.
What is something you still want to accomplish in life? To be around long enough to see my sons grow up.
People don’t know that you… Think peanut butter is a (or maybe the only) food group.
Who inspired you and how? My seventh grade teacher, Mrs. Kolb, by her devotion to caring for her students.
If you could pick an actor/actress to play you in a movie, who would you pick, and why? John Cusack for three reasons. He’s a Cubs fan. He’s from Illinois. And my wife thinks he’s cute.
What is one random fact about you? I can juggle.
Cats or dogs? Dogs. But I’ve been told I don’t get one until retirement when I’m the one around to take care of it all day.
What is your pet peeve? Inefficient meetings, especially when they hold no value.
What would you like your gravestone to say about you? Beloved husband and father.
