Job on campus/department you work in: Coordinator, Learning Disability and Assistive Technology at Disability Support Services

How long at SIUC: Five years

Hometown: Jonesboro, Ill.

When you were a youngster, what did you want to be when you grew up? NBA player

If you could choose another profession, what would it be and why? Carpenter. I would like to be able to fix up old homes.

What is something you still want to accomplish in life? Complete a marathon or triathlon. Maybe build or fix up an old house.

What was the first “album” you ever bought, and was it an LP, cassette or CD? Guns n’ Roses, Appetite for Destruction, cassette tape.

What is one random fact about you? In high school, I ran a mile in 4 minutes, 30 seconds.

Cats or dogs? Dogs.

What is your favorite food and why? Beef taco salads. You can pile a lot of veggies in there.

Who has inspired you, and how? My mom. She is selfless when it comes to family. She’s great.

What is your pet peeve? When people use the word, “Frankly.” It’s overused. Listen to politicians, they use it a lot.

Favorite cartoon character? Why? Ren and Stimpy. That show made me laugh.
