Greek Sing to add high note at family weekend
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- One of the oldest continuing traditions at Southern Illinois University Carbondale returns during Saluki Family Weekend and everyone can join in the fun.
The 74th Annual Greek sing begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, on the steps of Shryock Auditorium. The Inter-Greek Council sponsors the event and it is free and open to the public.
Nearly a dozen campus fraternities and sororities will be performing. With personalized song lyrics and dance, the spirited competition is a popular show. In case of rain, the show will move indoors at the Student Center.
