ACT preparation course begins Sept. 25

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Division of Continuing Education is offering a class to prepare students to take the ACT test.

The intensive six-day ACT Prep Course will meet from noon to 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 26 and Oct. 2, 3, 9 and 10. The review course will offer test-taking tips and strategies to prepare participants to take the ACT test. The class also includes a full-length practice exam. It all happens in a small classroom setting.

The $250 registration fee includes classroom instruction, the practice exam and written materials. Those materials include “The Real ACT Prep Guide: The Only Official Prep Guide from the Makers of the ACT,” “McGraw-Hill’s 10 ACT Practice Tests,” and a study guide that an experienced ACT instructor developed.
