SIUC offering ACT Prep Course this summer

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Is your high school student ready for the ACT test? Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Division of Continuing Education is offering an ACT Prep Course this summer.

This six-day intensive review prepares participants to take the ACT. The class meets Aug. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 from noon to 4:15 p.m.

The class provides test-taking tips and strategies for the ACT as well as a full-length practice exam. It all happens in a small classroom setting.

The $250 registration fee provides for participants “The Real ACT Prep Guide: The Only Official Prep Guide from the Makers of the ACT,” McGraw-Hill’s “10 ACT Practice Tests” and a study guide developed by an experienced ACT instructor.
