Civil Service Council’s flea market rescheduled

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Due to forecasts for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday, April 24, the annual Southern Illinois University Carbondale Civil Service Council’s flea market will be pushed back one day.

The flea market is now scheduled for its rain date, Sunday, April 25. The flea market will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the SIU Arena round parking lot. Customer parking will be in the adjacent parking lot. There is no parking in the circular lot without prior consent. Barbecue will be available for purchase.

Approximately 75 vendors are signed up to exhibit their items. Rental spaces are still available. The cost for sellers renting space the day of the sale is $30 for a single space (18 feet wide by 18 feet deep) and $40 for a double space (36 feet wide by 18 feet deep).
