Secretary of State’s mobile unit coming to campus

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale students, faculty and staff will be able to take care of many of the things they normally do at the Secretary of State’s office right on campus on Wednesday, March 31.

Secretary of State Jesse White’s office staff will offer many driver and vehicle services on campus from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Hall of Fame area at the Student Center. People can renew, replace or correct their driver’s licenses and state identification cards. You may renew a license up to one year prior to the expiration date.

You can also purchase renewal stickers for vehicle license plates along with SIUC collegiate license plates and regular license plates for passenger vehicles, motorcycles and B-trucks. Other services provided include vehicle title registration, providing placards for people with disabilities and registration for organ and tissue donors.

Payment is acceptable by personal checks, cash, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards. Acceptable identification is required. Visit www.CyberDriveIllinois.com for an identification list and additional information.
