CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The School of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale recently announced the 16 finalists eligible to compete for the prestigious Rickert-Ziebold Trust Award.
The art competition is for seniors at SIUC, and carries a substantial financial award. Finalists, selected by a panel of art faculty, are part of the Rickert-Ziebold exhibit at the Surplus Gallery in the Glove Factory at 432 S. Washington Ave.
The exhibit runs April 19-24, with an announcement of winners set for 3:30 p.m. on April 19. An exhibit reception begins at 5:30 p.m. on April 23, with an awards presentation at 6:30 p.m.
