by Andrea Hahn

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Join creative writing faculty and students from Southern Illinois University Carbondale at a literary event to benefit the International Relief Fund of the American Red Cross this Thursday, Jan. 28.

The event, Help for Haiti: A Literary Benefit, runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Cambria Room at the SIUC Student Center.  With many recent publications to their collective credit, students and faculty have a wide variety of readings to present.

There is no charge for this event, but donations collected will benefit the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.

The MFA Program in Creative Writing at SIUC sponsors this event.
