ACT preparation course set for February

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Are you a high school student or the parent of one preparing to take the ACT test? The ACT Prep Course from Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Division of Continuing Education offers the chance to really get ready for that important test.

The intensive, four-day review is Feb. 20, 21, 27 and 28, meeting from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day with an hour lunch break. In a classroom setting, class participants will get test-taking tips and strategies for taking the ACT. They’ll also take a full-length practice exam.

In addition to the classroom preparation, the $250 registration fee includes take home copies of “The Real ACT Prep Guide: The Only Official Prep Guide from the Makers of the ACT” and “McGraw-Hill’s 10 ACT Practice Tests” as well as a study guide an experienced ACT instructor developed.
