Legal workshops scheduled for Oct. 10
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Division of Continuing Education, in conjunction with the School of Law, will host the 2009 Homecoming Continuing Legal Education (CLE) A La Carte from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 10. It will take place at the Hiram H. Lesar Law Building at 1150 Douglas Drive.
Featured workshops include “Free Electronic Legal Research” by Candle Wester-Mittan, assistant professor and access services librarian, as well as “Recent Developments in Criminal Procedure in the J.S. Supreme Court” by William Schroeder, law professor.
The registration fee is $20 per CLE credit hour. SIUC law alumni and public interest attorneys get a $5 per credit hour discount.
