Student Center to host ‘We Can Make You Laugh’
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Do you fancy yourself a stoic? Or are you easily overcome by waves of giggles?
Regardless of how easy it is to hit your funny bone, if you enjoy a good laugh you won’t want to miss Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s very own game show, “We Can Make You Laugh.” The two-hour comedy festival is set for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Roman Room at the Student Center.
A random drawing that evening will select contestants from the audience. Contestants who can keep a straight face amidst the hilarity can win $50 in cash. All contestants who make it on stage, whether or not they choke back their laughter, will leave as winners of “Make Me Laugh” T-shirts.
