Dawg Book now on sale at Student Center
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The new edition of the “official” Dawg Book is now on sale at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Student Center.
The popular planner includes the University’s calendar of events for the 2009-2010 academic year, information about campus, bus schedules, maps and phone numbers. It’s also got event listings, coupons and a brand new feature. With a focus on sustainability and promoting recycling by students, faculty and staff, the Dawg Book includes a glossary of “green” terminology and tips for a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
The cover, bearing a recycling Saluki design by Nathan Bonner of the Student Center Graphics Office, is an extension of the book’s theme. You can find the daily planner at the University Bookstore on the first floor of the Student Center for $4.75 plus tax. Supplies are limited.
