Law students win scholarships, awards
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Outstanding law students were honored recently during the 2009 awards ceremony at the Southern Illinois University School of Law.
More than $62,600 in scholarships and awards was presented to 108 students at the annual ceremony at the Carbondale Civic Center.
In addition to the 167 awards and scholarships to students, several faculty and staff received honors. Professor William A. Schroeder received the “Outstanding Scholar” award; Associate Professor Patricia Ross McCubbin received the “Outstanding Teacher” award; administrative assistant Linda K. Vineyard received the “Outstanding Teaching Support Civil Service” award; and Professor Paul E. McGreal received the “Senior Class Award.”
