Curriculum and Instruction students win honors
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Undergraduate and graduate students in the Curriculum and Instruction program took home more than $51,500 in scholarships during Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s annual Honors Day ceremonies.
The program is part of the College of Education and Human Services. In all, 45 undergraduate and graduate students received awards. A total of 20 Teaching Excellence in Mathematics and Science (TEMS) awards of $1,000 were given. Five graduate students received awards – the J. Murray and Myrtle Lee Scholarship, the Cummings Scholarship, the Audrey Tomera Memorial Scholarship, and the James D. and Nancy L. Quisenberry Endowed Scholarship.
