Nave wins Leadership Team award from RSS
Nave, the daughter of Michael and Theresa Nave, is from Arcola. She is a facilities supervisor at the Student Recreation Center. An employee since May 2007, she earned the award for March.
Nave is a senior majoring in athletic training and exercise science. She plans to continue her education at SIUC as a graduate student. She hopes for a graduate assistantship as an athletic trainer at the Student Recreation Center and her career goal is a position as an athletic trainer for a high school or collegiate football or basketball team. She said she intends to keep her options open for a career within the medical field.
“Kiley is a very hard worker and very knowledgeable about her job as a student supervisor at the Student Recreation Center,” said Amber Bratsch, facilities coordinator for RSS. “She is a mentor to those who work below her and I believe she strives to do her best each and every day when she comes to work. She always has a friendly and upbeat attitude and provides a positive atmosphere for those she works with and around.”
The Leadership Team award goes monthly to a member of the team, which includes full-time staff, graduate assistants and student employees. Full-time staff selects the winner from among team nominations and the award recognizes exemplary leadership and teamwork skills.
