Open house set at Wall and Grand Apartments
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- An open house will showcase Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Wall and Grand Apartments on Thursday, April 16.
The open house is 1-6 p.m. at the apartment complex located at the corner of Wall Street and Grand Avenue, just east of the Student Health Center. Visitors can tour the fully furnished apartments and see all the amenities the complex offers.
WTAO will have a live remote on site and there will be refreshments, including hand-dipped ice cream. Watch for other fun surprises too. Students can sign housing contracts for the fall semester to assure they’ll be among the 400 or so living in the apartments that opened in fall 2007.
Wall and Grand Apartments are open to students who are sophomores or older, graduate students or freshmen who are age 21 or older. The contract prices cover utilities, cable television, Ethernet and local television. Student input was important in the complex and apartment designs. There are two-bedroom and four-bedroom apartments, each housing four students.
