Reunion planned for MEDPREP alumni
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois University MEDPREP program will hold a reunion for alumni the weekend of May 2. Festivities begin Friday evening with an open house at Wheeler Hall on the SIUC campus.
Other activities include a family picnic and MEDPREP banquet, which will be held in Ballroom D of the Student Center.
The Continuing Medical Education (CME) program has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The program is a joint sponsorship of the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and MEDPREP. SIU School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
The CME program will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. and will cover “Preventive Medicine” by Dr. Mattie While, MEDPREP 1992-1994, and “Physician-Patient Relationship” by Dr. Wesley McNeese, MEDPREP 1979-1982.

Friday, May 1
7-9 p.m.: Welcome & Open House, Wheeler Hall, 975 S. Normal Ave, Carbondale
9 p.m.: Hospitality, Hampton Inn Lobby, 2175 Reed Station Parkway, Carbondale
Saturday, May 2
9 a.m.-noon: CME Program, SIUC Student Center, Ballroom C
Noon-3 p.m.: Family Picnic, Old Main mall (lawn in front of Wheeler Hall)
6-9 p.m.: MEDPREP Banquet, SIUC Student Center, Ballroom D.
