Recreational Sports and Services honors Ricci
“Lacee is dedicated as a student and an employee,” said Lynn Thompson-Cundiff, assistant director of fitness for RSS. “She is a great example of leadership, taking on responsibilities and working to get the job done regardless of whether or not it’s her specific duty. She’s a team player.”
The daughter of Tim and Debbie Ricci, Lacee is from West Frankfort. She’s worked a semester for RSS.
Ricci earned her bachelor’s degree in business management at SIUC. After completing her master’s in sports management, a goal she is now working toward, Ricci plans to work in the fitness/sport industry or be a high school athletic director.
The monthly RSS Leadership Team Employee of the Month award recognizes a member of the department’s leadership team, comprised of full-time staff, graduate assistants and student employees. Full-time staff selects the winner from team nominations. The award recognizes leadership and teamwork skills, outstanding effort and service by student employees.
