Creative writing graduate students host readings

by Andrea Hahn

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- For a chance to hear tomorrow’s writers today, one need go no further than the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Student Center.

Graduate students in the creative writing program in the Department of English host In-House Readings several times throughout the semester. Due to popular response, the readings are set now for the “River Rooms” in the Student Center.

Readings are from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 (Mississippi Room), Oct. 15 (Illinois Room) and Oct. 22 (Kaskaskia and Missouri Room). Readings feature both fiction and poetry.
