Golf scramble will raise scholarship funds

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A best ball golf scramble to benefit a scholarship fund in Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s College of Applied Sciences and Arts is next week at Jackson County Country Club near Murphysboro. The golf scramble is Friday, June 27.

The Southern Illinois Scholarship Scramble funds CASA program scholarships for Southern Illinois high school graduates and family members of CASA alumni. A portion of the proceeds also funds College Alumni Constituency Society Development Activities.

Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. The scramble begins at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start.

Registration is $100 per player, which includes all golf fees, lunch, on-course beverages and snacks. Sponsorships of $125, $250, $500 and $1,000 CASAngel sponsorships are also available.
