Course focuses on use of Microsoft Excel program

CARBONDALE, Ill. – In four weekly sessions, you can learn much about Microsoft Excel 2007 through a course Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Division of Continuing Education is offering.

The Microsoft Excel 2007 class meets from 9 a.m. until noon Tuesdays from March 18 through April 8 in Room 204B at Pulliam Hall.

Instruction will include concepts covered by the Microsoft Officer User Specialists (MOUS) certification exam as well as basic and intermediate operations of the software program. That includes common spreadsheet tasks, printing, manipulating and entering data, document appearance, spreadsheet integration and chart creation. Presenters will incorporate a mixture of topics and information relevant in both business and home environments in an enjoyable format that also engages participants in class discussion.
