Campus Safety Alert

Southern Illinois University Carbondale police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 10:55 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, near the Boomer residence hall.

A pizza delivery driver told police he was delivering an order to the residence hall. After waiting two or three minutes upon his arrival, he contacted the ordering party, who stated they would be down for the order.

The victim was not injured.

The other two suspects are each described as between five feet, seven inches and five feet, nine inches tall, and weigh between 150 and 170 pounds. They were wearing the same clothing as the first suspect.
