Media Advisory — Event Cancellation
A presentation slated for tonight, Oct. 29, at Southern Illinois University Carbondale won't be happening. "Super Queer in the State of the Union," featuring Amber Zimmerman, will not take place as scheduled in the Student Center Auditorium at 7 p.m.
Personal reasons forced Zimmerman to cancel the show, a humanitarian look at political leadership and education and the effects of the "heteronormative fascist virus." The presentation was set as part of the month-long observance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) History Month at SIUC.
