Media Advisory – Wall & Grand Dedication

Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to cover the dedication of Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Wall & Grand Apartments. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in the courtyard of the apartment complex, located east of the Student Recreation Center. Speakers will include SIU President Glenn Poshard and Chancellor Fernando M. Treviño. A reception and tours of the apartments will follow the dedication ceremony. In addition, students' architectural concepts, many of which were incorporated into the final design, will be on display.
