University to offer beginning eBay classes
CARBONDALE, Ill. – Have you ever wanted to buy or sell items on eBay but felt intimidated or didn't know where to start? The Division of Continuing Education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will offer two sessions of "eBay for Beginners: How to Make a Profit."
The eBay-approved course lays the foundation for success and fun when buying, setting up auctions and handling the various elements involved with the popular Internet site. Participants will wrap up the class with a greater understanding of how to effectively utilize one of the oldest and largest sites on the Internet and they'll receive a certificate of completion for their efforts.
Section 1 of the eBay course meets each Tuesday from Sept. 11- Oct. 23 while Section 2 meets Thursdays from Sept. 13-Oct. 25. Both classes meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in room 1024 in Faner Hall at SIUC.
