Griswold wins special education scholarship
CARBONDALE, Ill. —Troy E. Griswold of Murphysboro (1001 Steven Lane), a Southern Illinois University Carbondale senior in special education, received $100 through the special education excellence and leadership scholarship given by the Department of Educational Psychology & Special Education Sunday, April 15, during Honors Day ceremonies on campus.
The scholarship goes annually to a student with a grade-point average of at least 3.25 in special education coursework who also has played an active role in supporting people with disabilities.
Griswold is married to Murphysboro resident Nicole Griswold.
