Application deadline is March 9 - Awards recognize outstanding seniors
CARBONDALE, Ill. — The Student Alumni Council and the SIU Alumni Association are accepting applications for the 25 Most Distinguished Seniors Award.
Every year, the groups honor a few exceptional seniors, naming them one of the 25 Most Distinguished Seniors. Students selected to receive the award excel in all areas of University life: scholarship, community service, University service and extracurricular activities.
In order to be eligible for the award, the undergraduate student must be a senior graduating in May, August or December of 2007. The student must also have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Students interested in applying for the award can log on to www.siualumni.com/25mds or call the SIU Alumni Association at 618/453-2417 for more details. Applications are due Friday, March 9, to the SIU Alumni Association Office on the second floor of the Student Center.
