Alumni association to offer Pinckneyville scholarship
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Alumni Association is pleased to announce a new scholarship for graduates of Pinckneyville Community High School.The Baker Family PCHS Scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and will be awarded to a graduating senior from the school. The recipient must be enrolled as full-time student and attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale during the upcoming 2007-2008 academic year. Academic achievement and financial need are taken into consideration when selecting recipients.
The scholarship is made possible because of the generosity of Nancy Baker Vallino in honor of the Baker Family.
