Association plans wine trail event on Oct. 21
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Alumni, students, and friends of Southern Illinois University Carbondale are invited to enjoy the Ste. Genevieve Wine Trail on Oct. 21.
The Greater St. Louis Chapter of the SIU Alumni Association is hosting the event. Tours will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bus trips have been scheduled from Fairview Heights at 9:45 a.m., and Busch Stadium in St. Louis at 10:30 a.m. Exact locations will be determined at a later date.
Cost to attend is $45 per person. The package includes the bus trip, boxed lunch and wine tasting.

Building relationships among the University and its students and graduates is among the goals of Southern at 150: Building Excellence Through Commitment, the blueprint the University is following as it approaches its 150th anniversary in 2019.
