SIUC to hold grant writing mini-course
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale is holding a mini-course on grants and grant writing for individuals who want to learn about the process of obtaining grants from government or private organizations. Individuals should be prepared to participate actively in class discussions and to help compose a grant proposal outline. The course will teach participants how to write a grant proposal, find grant opportunities and how grants are reviewed.
The course will take place Wednesdays, Oct. 11 and 18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Life Science II, Room 450. Registration is $50. For more information or to register, contact the Division of Continuing Education at 618/536-7751 or visit the Web site at www.dce.siu.edu.
