Summer internship/job expo set for March 22

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A summer internship and summer job expo at Southern Illinois University Carbondale next week will give students a chance to meet with local employers who have openings this summer.

The event, from 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, is in Student Center Ballroom D.

Participating employers include AAR Corp. in Wood Dale, one of the world's leading aviation support companies; Dillard's; Wal-Mart; the Illinois Department of Employment Security; the Shagbark Council of Girl Scouts of America; and Camp Jump Start.

Additional internship and summer job announcements will be available at the expo.

Registration is not necessary and admission is free.

Interested job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resumes and any other pertinent credentials. Suggested dress is business and business-casual.
