Registration open for summer baseball camp
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Young people who love the sport of baseball and want to improve their skills should attend the summer baseball camp at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Each year, players learn to improve their ability to hit, field or pitch. Attending the camp improves players' confidence. Many former campers have experienced success at the high school level and gone on to play college and professional baseball.
The Saluki Baseball Camp includes one of the finest staffs assembled in the Midwest. Saluki baseball coaches Dan Callahan and Ken Henderson will lead the instruction. In addition, the staff will feature Saluki players, and high school and college coaches.
This commuter camp is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12-15 at Abe Martin Field at SIUC. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. June 12. Individual registration before May 31 is $170 and team registration is $150 per player. After May 31, individual registration is $185 and team registration is $165 per player.
Registration fees include lunches, a camp T-shirt, and a cap.
