St. Louis chapter hosts annual trivia night
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Alumni and friends of Southern Illinois University Carbondale living in the St. Louis area are invited to enjoy an evening of trivia and fun on Friday, Jan. 27. Attendees will gather at 6:30 p.m. in the Olivette (Mo.) Community Center.
Each team will consist of eight participants (partial teams will be combined). Cost to compete is $20 per person with snacks and beverages provided. The St. Louis Chapter of the SIU Alumni Association hosts the annual SIU Alumni Trivia Night. Proceeds will benefit the chapter's scholarship fund.
Reservations are being taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be made by calling the SIU Alumni Association at 618/453-2408.
Conducting more aggressive and effective outreach to SIUC alumni is among the goals of Southern at 150: Building Excellence Through Commitment, the blueprint the University is following as it approaches its 150th anniversary in 2019.
