Pre-game reception set for Jan. 28 in Normal
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Alumni and friends of Southern Illinois University Carbondale are invited to a reception prior to the SIU men's basketball game Jan. 28 in Normal. The group will gather at 1:45 p.m. in the Peabody Room of the Holiday Inn. SIU's game against Illinois State follows at 4:05 p.m. in Redbird Arena.
The reception menu includes Buffalo wings, meatballs and chips, with a cash bar. Attendees can pick up their game tickets at the reception.
Cost to attend the reception and game is $17 per person for SIU Alumni Association members; $21 for nonmembers. Reception-only tickets are $14 for members; $18 for nonmembers. Orders must be received by Jan. 25.
