Association hosting playoff game tailgate
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Alumni Association is inviting all Saluki football fans to a pre-game tailgate on Saturday, Nov. 26, prior to SIU’s NCAA playoff game against Eastern Illinois in Charleston.
Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., south of the EIU stadium parking lot. The menu includes barbecue sandwiches, potato chips and beverages. Game time is 1 p.m.
Cost to attend the tailgate is $10 per person. All fans interested in attending must RSVP with a credit card to the SIU Alumni Association office by calling 618/453-2408 by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, and Wednesday, Nov. 23. The office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Payment will not be accepted at the tailgate.
Game tickets can be purchased by either calling the SIU Athletics Ticket office at 618/453-2000, or Eastern Illinois Athletics Ticket Office at 217/581-2106. Saluki fans will be seated on the stadium’s west side.
