Alumni Member Night at Shryock is Nov. 29
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The SIU Alumni Association is hosting its Alumni Member Night at Shryock Auditorium on Nov. 29. Members will gather in the Band Orchestra Room of Altgeld Hall for a 6 p.m. hor'doeuvres reception. They will watch a performance by The Boys Choir of Harlem at 7:30 p.m. in Shryock Auditorium.
Reservations to attend the reception and show are $32 per member. Members are receiving a $6 discount on performance tickets. Individuals who have already purchased show tickets can attend the reception for $9 per person.
The reception menu includes silver dollar sandwiches, skewered chicken, sweet and sour meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, and various fruits and cheeses.
Membership in the SIU Alumni Association is open to alumni, students, and friends of the University. Annual membership is $40. Life membership costs $500 and installment plans are available.
