Job fair set for Tuesday, Oct. 4

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A job and graduate school fair at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Tuesday, Oct. 4, will give students, alumni and interested community members a first-hand look at job opportunities across the country.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms, features representatives from more than 100 employers and graduate schools. Registration is not necessary and admission is free.

Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resumes and any other pertinent credentials, and should dress appropriately.

Firms represented come from Illinois, California, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin,
