Media Advisory – Louisiana musicians
A pair of Louisiana violinists — who've found a new home with the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina — are available for interviews.
The husband and wife team, Razvan and Zorica Constantin, will rehearse with the Southern Illinois orchestra from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Sept. 25 and 26, on Shryock Auditorium's stage.
Hurricane Katrina disrupted this season's performances by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, to which the Constantins belong.
They couple will debut with our region's symphony Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Shryock Auditorium. Southern Illinois University Carbondale's School of Music sponsors the symphony orchestra.
