Media Advisory – Gift to Women's Center

Students working to become physician assistants at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will donate $600 to the Carbondale Women's Center at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Lindgren Hall, just east of Life Science II.

Reporters, photographers and film crews are welcome to cover the event.

The students raised the money specifically to help area women and children struggling to break away from domestic violence.

SIUC administrators, Women's Center staff members and the generous SIUC students — Julie Lampley and Rachael Cunnick — will be available for interviews.
