Media Advisory – Open House
Hundreds of teenagers — flanked by eager family members — will flock to the Student Recreation Center at 8 a.m., Friday, July 22, for Southern Illinois University Carbondale's popular summer open house.
Reporters, photographers and film crews are welcome to cover the event, which will be in full swing from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Campus tours, visits to the various colleges and residence halls, a community welcome tent will be among the most requested stops.
Free visitor parking will be available in the lots behind and across the street from the Rec Center.
