SIUC aviation students win scholarships
CARBONDALE, Ill - - Eleven students of the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Aviation program received scholarships for the Fall 2004 semester.
Recipients were named during the annual fall aviation banquet, sponsored by the Aviation Management Society, an SIUC registered student organization. Some of the scholarships honor SIUC alumnus and all support students enrolled in the aviation program.
Strengthening the undergraduate scholarship program is among the goals of Southern at 150: Building Excellence Through Commitment, the blueprint for the development of the University by the time it celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2019.
