Miller wins College of Science scholarship

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Suzanne M. Miller, a 2004 graduate of Fenton High School in Bensenville, is the recipient of the Pi Kappa Sigma Memorial Alumnae Scholarship awarded by the College of Science at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Miller, a freshman from Wood Dale, plans to major in zoology. The $300 scholarship is renewable for seven subsequent semesters as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and continues as a major within the College of Science.

While in high school Miller was an Illinois State Scholar and received the Prairie State Achievement Award and the Presidents Award for Educational Achievement.

She is the daughter of Edward and Carla Miller of Wood Dale.
