SIUC offering summer ballroom dance class
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Want to improve your romance quotient? Sign up now for the summer ballroom dance class at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
This class is designed for beginning dancers who want to move quickly to intermediate level dancing, or for intermediate-level dancers who want a refresher class in the basics.
You'll begin with the very basic steps in foxtrot and swing, two of the most popular and versatil
e ballroom dances. By the end of the class, you'll be ready for fancier footwork. Sessions will be on Wednesday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m. June 30-July 21 in Davies Gymnasium, just north of SIUC's Anthony Hall.
